Boil in coconut milk


Materials




1. Katla fish belly 4

2. Chilli powder 2 tsp

3. Turmeric powder 2 tsp

4. Chilli powder 2 tsp

5. 2 spoons of ginger paste

6. Garlic paste 2 spoons

7. Raw mango paste 1

8. Coconut milk 1/4 cup

9. curry leaves

10. Mustard oil in quantity

method


First, mix chilli powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, raw mango paste, little mustard oil and salt in a bowl.


Then apply masala on the fish and keep it for half an hour. Heat little oil in a pan and start cooking fish pieces on low flame.



Add 2 teaspoons of coconut milk to one side of the fish. Then flip and add another 2 teaspoons of coconut milk on the other side.



In the same way you can add a little bit of curry leaves while cooking each piece. Once done, serve with delicious coconut milk katla.


Rui Kasundi


Materials


4 pieces of cotton fish

Poppy batter 2 tbsp

A little less than half a tablespoon of black cumin

A little less than half a tablespoon of turmeric powder

A little less than half a tablespoon of coriander powder

Cumin powder half tablespoon

Kasundi 4 tbsp salt

5-6 tablespoons of mustard oil

2-3 green chillies

Chop coriander leaves.

Wash the fish well and marinate it with salt and turmeric. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the fish on medium heat.


After that remove the fried fish and reduce the heat and add black cumin and green chillies to the pan. Then stir in poppy seeds, kasundi, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, till the oil separates.



Then stir with half a cup of water, salt, chopped green chillies. After that, the fish should be kept in a pan with a lid. Reduce heat and keep for 5 minutes. Sprinkle coriander leaves. Serve Rui Kasundi with hot rice.
