What it takes to make


Duck meat - 2 kg

Chopped onion - 2 cups


Garlic paste- 1 tbsp

Ginger paste- 2 tbsp


Bay leaves - 2


Cardamom - 5


Cloves - 4


Cinnamon - 2


Whole pepper - 10


Shahi garam masala powder- 1 tbsp


Turmeric powder- one and a half teaspoon


Cumin powder- 1 tbsp


Roasted cumin-powder 1 tbsp


Coriander powder- 1 tbsp


Dry chili paste- one and a half tablespoon


Mustard oil – in quantity


Soybean oil – in quantity


Whole green chillies – 4-5


Hot water - 2 cups


Salt - to taste.

How to make


Cut the duck skin into pieces. Then clean well and drain the water. Heat oil in a pot with whole garam masala and fry for a minute with onion and ginger-garlic batter. Now grind with all other spices except fried cumin powder and shahi garam masala. When the masala is grated, add the duck meat and grind it well. Wait fifteen minutes like this. Then add hot water and salt. Reduce heat to low, cover and let simmer. When the meat is cooked and roasted, spread Shahi garam masala powder and roasted cumin powder. It will be better eaten with hot rice, rice flour bread, paratha, polao or khichuri.
